Data Privacy Analyst
Chicago, IL$80,000 – $105,000 / year
Own the day-to-day work of privacy program engagements — DPIAs, RoPAs, data mapping, and DSAR support — for multinational clients navigating GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and comparable frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Draft and maintain Data Protection Impact Assessments and Records of Processing Activities
- Build and update data maps reflecting how client organizations actually move personal data
- Support Data Subject Access Request intake, verification, and response drafting
- Assist with vendor and third-party privacy risk assessments
- Contribute to privacy policy and notice drafting for client review
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a privacy program, legal, or compliance role
- Familiarity with GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and comparable global privacy frameworks
- Comfortable working directly with client stakeholders across functions
- Strong attention to detail — this work becomes the evidentiary record clients rely on
Preferred Certifications
- CIPP/US or CIPP/E — preferred
- CIPM — a plus
